Technical ERwin classes 401*

Sandhill Academy's Technical ERwin 401 classes are aimed at CA's ERwin® power technical user who wishes to extend and customize CA's ERwin® beyond the standard ERwin classes.  Each class is designed to provide the student the necessary information to understand and leverage CA's ERwin®’s ODBC Interface, API interface and Macro Scripting.  Technical ERwin 401 courses include:

ERwin ODBC Interface

ERwin ODBC Interface class, provides a detailed understanding of the power of CA's ERwin®’s ODBC interface and how it can be used for strategic data extraction for reporting or for input into other processes.  The class will cover CA's ERwin® meta data, its significance and use. Students will be able to apply the knowledge to identify the required data and extract it directly from the model.  ERwin ODBC is available as one-day training sessions, held on-site at client locations.

ERwin API

ERwin API workshop will provide the student with the knowledge necessary to work with CA's ERwin®’s API. Students using VB.net will be able to create, read, update, delete and manipulate CA's ERwin® model data.  Students who complete this workshop will have a solid knowledge of CA's ERwin®’s API.  ERwin API Workshop is available as one-day training sessions, held on-site at client locations.

ERwin Macro Scripting

Macro Scripting provides an introduction to using CA's ERwin® macro language support for managing object naming, defining stored procedure and trigger templates, defining and using table and model-level scripts, and customizing DDL generation. Aimed at students with in-depth knowledge of CA's ERwin®, the course provides an understanding of current and emerging macro functionality within CA's ERwin®, and how to use macro scripting to extend and customize CA's ERwin® functionality. Macro Scripting is available as a one-day instructor-led training class, held on-site at client locations.
