Data Management Strategy

Instructor-led Remote Course: Data Management Strategy

A three-hour seminar, designed for 7–15 stakeholders who will lead, or participate in, the development of an organization-wide strategy for managing your data assets. The target audience is business and technology leaders, and the primary data governance participants and subject-matter experts who will provide critical input into the strategy.

Prior to the seminar, attendees will be asked to complete a brief survey, aimed at your assessment of the organization’s readiness to create a strategy, your perceptions about any obstacles that need to be overcome, and what factors need to be in place for you to succeed.

We will discuss WHY a data management strategy is important, outline and discuss WHAT content is needed, provide suggestions about HOW to staff and manage the effort, and determine WHO should review and approve the strategy. Attendees will receive an annotated content outline to help them get started and progress quickly, and we will develop consensus on objectives and specific content for your organization.  This seminar will help you focus your effort, create a common approach, and plan an effective project which leads to a valuable and strategic deliverable.
